People occupying the Presidential Palace
The Presidential Palace in Sri Lanka (I thought the tea from there is called "Ceylon," but who cares) has been occupied by a crowd of people, who have had enough of the shortages, especially food shortages. Considering the ethnic groups inhabiting the place and its relative isolation (you cannot just swim to the mainland), it is not simply a country; it's an island of over 21 million inhabitants.
As such, it is an ideal testing field for the WEF. What happens, when people have nothing to lose? I'm sure, the game-masters already have the answer, but pondering over the situation doesn't seem completely futile, because the results might be soon applicable in a place near you.
Maybe, okay, certainly, I am an "elitist" in the sense that I don't care for the mob, especially a lynch mob (anyone accusing you there to be "one of them" can get you killed quite peacefully and efficiently). Still, I care for everyone in their own rights, and this crowd is supposed to comprise starving people at their wits' end. Are they provocateurs in the crowd? Most certainly, yes, but the outcome of the popular effort will soon speak for itself.
Here, the “starving” people are using the swimming pool in the palace; I guess, they need some “cooling”:
They may have overcooled themselves, because later, even after security forces tried to warm them up with some tear gas, they set the residence of the Prime Minister on fire:
Politicians cannot fart food or supplies, but they can ask for international "help," "peacekeepers," if you will. No matter what, it's a lose-lose situation for the people.
Here is the President, dragging his suitcase to the ship on which he flees:
The fleeing President is dragging his suitcase
In ancient Rome, a rhetor told a parable to the plebeians, when they left town and wanted to secede around 494 BC. According to the tale told, everybody has their own role, just like body parts cannot exist without each other. The rhetor convinced the plebeians, who returned to the city. So far, so good. Yet, did everybody fulfill a function after that? Ancient Rome ransacked half of the known world, which made sure the mob would not rise and has its bread and circus. After they ran out of resources to replenish their constantly-diminishing sources, the empire ended in a whimper.
Today, in the technocrats' Brave New World, there is no room for "useless eaters," which is why perhaps their next move is quite appropriately famine.
Did starving and desperate people occupied the Presidential Palace in Sri Lanka? Have they arrived at the point, where it's better to die than to live as slaves? But they have always been slaves, just didn’t notice, because they had enough to eat and enough gasoline in their vehicles. The "elite" has always done slaves with a death wish the favor in history and had them killed. No slave rebellion has ever succeeded for more than a few years and the disenfranchised went back to their original miserable state. For the rulers, it was only a number game, to make sure there would be enough surviving subjects to serve them.
Politicians look larger-than life on TV, but ultimately, they are con-men and infants, who need to have their diapers changed. In the US, that’s when they raise the debt ceiling.
Normally, something that the majority claims is not true, which reminds me of a saying, "753 trillion flies cannot be wrong! Let's eat shit!"
This time, these people are quite a bit right. They have been duped to believe they were free and had the right to live.
What are they going to achieve and how long will it last?
I know I know but I believe that writers have a drive to write and convey and I believe in honesty and all that but if everyone was a writer we would not have music, great cooks (of which my wife is one , she totally has the drive to produce great tasting food on a plant based level ( not anti meat as this is a choice of the individual ) and there are thousands of other arts that I believe other's aspire to but I get what you mean, I just don't have that drive but I will try to improve myself because folks like you and Frances make me expand myself into regions I would not normally go to, I'm totally Fek'd off with Ego shit and that's where music will take you to some times and I've learned to recognise the difference between liking some thing and wanting to appear cool/smart or clever or in the know, I like to leave it up to the writers ......................like you and Frances LOL. Respect & X 2 All.
p.s. but I like a comment or two hee hee. peas ..................can feed the world.
Succinctly and very well put, It's nice to see my thoughts conveyed in such a well written and understanding article, like minded instead of blind sided. Respect & X 2 All
