The road to the light is through darkness.
Every day I wake up, it is a leap in the dark, but somehow, the light wins out for another day.
To me, it’s an adventure, during which I can keep committing myself to the little light that, no matter what, keeps sticking around.
People who want to be in control, hate uncertainty.
As for me, the end is mercilessly clear, if I use only logic, but as a human being, I am infinitely more than logic and perception. To me, life resides in the certainty of the uncertain, far beyond unchartered waters and lands, where only few manage to reach and dare to wander.
Somehow, I know that this is only an Overture to the gift of life, reserved for those who decide to stay and live in the shrinking realm of the living.
The miraculous Source of all Life is presiding over my fears, hopes, and even my desires, because it’s holding something more amazing than I could ever imagine. In fact, my imagination would only wreck it all; I MUST let life happen and I can only hope to contribute.
Ever since you set out on the infinite journey, you have been living in an all-consuming sunrise. You ceased to be what you had been and became where you are going.

Both you and I know that walking in the darkness is no fun. It’s not even rewarding in any way most of the time. Still, is there any other path? What else can you say but
Ray, I would also add that all of this bad news is far better coming out into the open...than if it kept creeping along like it has been for 100+ years with compound interest, with rights eroded, lives shortened, control tightened, freedom shrinking, children harmed, corruption soaring, and so forth.
The fact that so much incredible death, corruption, hubris, and ugliness is revealed means we are ready to stop it. We are ready to wake up and stop clinging to our executioners. We are ready to starting critical thinking and using our hearts like never before.
We wouldn't be opening ourselves to the hard truths of our surroundings (however horrifying) if we weren't ready to choose life and fix it.
Poignant, and thought-provoking. These are the words i choose to describe the calling of those who dare brave the darkness. By walking in it, and, in so doing, selflessly reach the tunnel’s end. Seeing a crack where the light gets in( to quote the late Leonard Cohen). And if it should darken so as to be invisible to the eye, holding the faith in its eternal presence empowers the seeker to maintain the course despite obstacles of evil. And break open the crack into a sunburst of light and truth.
