CHD usually pushes the narrative that conjures up the non-existent “virus” and “viral infections,” so I consider the website controlled opposition.
This time, however, in an extremely timely manner, one of its contributors is reviving a traditional solution that would satisfy environmental protectionism as well as those, who don’t care to eat bugs:

The solution is actually realistic, because farmers in the West haven’t been able to produce anything without subsidies for decades, so introducing this “environmentally-friendly” path would not incur further expenses. Subsidies have been necessary, because the well-connected wholesaler middlemen had to be well-paid, too, using up taxpayer funds… In the new perspective, the Masters of Extortion can still keep their profits, and people can stop being poisoned with never-before-seen levels of pesticides and they will not have to accept to eat bugs in order to “save the Earth.”
The result is mass-produced GMO crap with enough toxins in them to make anyone sick, while even these traditional farmers (whose average age is close to 70 now in the US) have been, and are, forced out of business by any means necessary, but mostly by geo-engineered droughts and floods.
Either way, the above article’s author is pointing out the obvious.
As long as the global players are controlling the MSM, I am not going to hold my breath that this gamble can be tackled by any form of activism, but people are now realizing that they are fighting for their lives, which hopefully enhances their determination and resilience.
We are fast heading into a barter economy where goods and services may be localized in a data base by someone who can put the labor of one person into a "bank" of sorts. For instance, I as a "retired" plumber can still do plumbing. So if I were to say I was willing to put 10 hours of labor towards whatever in that database at 50 fed notes per hour or better yet, two boxes of 9mm ammo an hour, or maybe whatever equals the 50 fed notes in silver per hour and the operator of the system takes a small cut for their effort, which could total a LOT, he can line me up with someone who needs plumbing or whatever I'm willing to trade. It may sound complicated, but I think that someone with the understanding of how to do a data base would be able to accomplish it quite easily. Once the word gets out things will start happening.
Decentralization of food production and distribution is the only solution. Why farmers do not go from house to house (at least in provinces and countryside) selling their goods and prefer the middle man beats me !
