I saw beauty in a yellow buttercup flower when I was 25 years old; under fasting and seeking the divine and I felt as though I could stand there forever starting at that wonderful flower❣️ Thanks for the nice pondering!

THE VIRUS IS MY GOD. The “virus” is claimed to have invaded a town in the old west and soon worshiped as a new idol among the populace: Watch Turfseer’s first music video from his Scamdemic Collection: https://turfseer.substack.com/p/the-virus-is-my-god.

To expand further, which I intend to do on that post and this idea of transcendent beauty is about the feeling of awe. The technocrats would have us believe this is possible to feel in the observation of man’s creations, and I have a number of citations in current institutional publications to demonstrate this, though for those who see, it is already everywhere so obvious. The artificial awe evoked by man’s creation is not the same feeling. It is impressive, our inventions, our progress, our potential, and that is something. But it is not, and will never be the same feeling evoked by natural beauty, for those who have felt it. For me, I think of it as is velveeta to aged goat cheese. 🤔

One of my best friends and mentor is named Sundaram- Sanskrit rough translation is Beauty in action or process. Every action can be an artistic expression no matter how seemingly mundane. Funny, I clean house the same way I work at my bench.

You are fortunate to have had the experience, and noticed it ) of this energetic peace and gaiety at such a young age :).

As for artistic expression, I had the same idea, when playing soccer. In fact, I needed instant creativity to play well, and the mental process reminded me of the method I had to use for writing.

Cleaning the house in such a way, in my opinion, is a greater achievement than the Sixtus Chapel! Agatha Christie used to invent her murders during doing the dishes, because she hated it! :)

I don't believe in luck, but I've always been more blessed than I deserved and even less than I noticed. :)

Yes, that childhood experience transformed my whole life into something I couldn't have otherwise imagined. All I had to do was to participate.

This is really important I believe. When we are fully involved and have gotten our own selves out of the way we experience greatly enhanced creativity. Music helps, engaged meaningful activity and of course interactive sports such as soccer. Hunting, gathering, creating and gaming made this part of life in many cultures.

Many people seem to forget about securing clean water resources or, at least, purifying systems that match the available sources.

I was writing about beauty at this moment as well, are we in some kind of sync already, after I’ve only just ‘discovered’ you?! https://kenshohomestead.org/2023/02/12/beauty-is-intoxicating/

And first thing I get a ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’ comment. But I believe in objective beauty and its implicit and explicit power.

Thank you for the link. Even the memes are hilarious!

I'd love to read more from you; the feminine side has always been a mystery to me. :) I recall the old adage that "If a woman wants to be happy with a man, she must understand him a lot, and love him a little; if a man wants to be happy with a woman, he must love her a lot, and must not even try to understand her."

The "everything is relative" platitude is primarily demoralizing in the same way as the "eye of the beholder" nonsense. Both thrive on the experience that whatever worked yesterday, might not work today, or vice versa. Still, to me, it looks like values are always absolute right here and right now.

I'm reminded of the movie Equilibrium, when possessing art is a capital punishment. Beauty, like art, is dangerous because it can transform the dependent to the emotionally self-sufficient, and spiritually unpredictable.
