I was recently put on statins. Can you tell me what I should know about them or where to look. Thank you.

Neither can I offer medical advice, but I can recommend a book. Read The Clot Thickens by Dr. Malcolm Kendrick. You'll be glad you did.

I am not allowed to give "medical" advice, but here are a few details from what I have learned from independent sources (Mercola is the one I am referring to here).

"High cholesterol" usually accumulates, when the walls of the blood vessels become inflamed and the body tries to fix that. Cholesterol, in fact, just like consuming good fat and good salt, are indispensable for human life. Cutting it down (Mercola or, rather, his ghostwriters, wrote a few articles about it, when he was still really Mercola) poses dangers and hardly any benefits (Mercola thinks that prescribing statins is still justified in 1-2% of all cases, but again, Mercola also believes in viruses, whose existence the way they are described by the "medical" establishment, has never been proven).

Statins make people weak, dizzy, and those are only the immediate "side effects." More are usually coming... Did I also mention that according to Mercola, the likelihood of a stroke/heart attack actually increases for those on statins?

You are responsible for your "medical treatment," which is the disclaimer/"form of consent" they make you sign, when you go to a "doctor's" office for the first time. You must handle the corollaries accordingly.

I fell for the pharma for many years. Tapered off 8 prescriptions to” manage “ autoimmune issues slowly. They’d offered addictive pain killers for fibromyalgia after I was at my limit for gabapentin . I was only in my mid 40’s. None of the antidepressants really work. Everything was better once I got off them , dr called me non compliant. Few years later God blessed me with an integrative medicine doctor. Actually helps. Hope & a little quality of life again.

(Back when I was going to Grateful Dead concerts, we didn’t know about the frogs. My using psychedelics was just searching for the Holy Spirit )

"Smart" psychiatrists prescribe "cocktails" of various toxins of their trade.

Fibromyalgia seems to be an autoimmune condition, but it's unclear what causes it (based on my experience with such patients, I would guess, it's mostly pesticides).

Would you care to share your experience with the naturopath, please?

The Holy Spirit probably goes longer than psychedelics. :)

Through a lifetime of searching, was diagnosed with Dysautonomia. Fibro and many symptoms fall under it. But my question is always what causes Dysautonomia! Pathogens, stress, metals, allergens, etc! Good Drs for 40 years of searching. All alternate. They just didn’t know. One sent me to a cardiologist who did know. I finally relented and took drugs. They really help. But the condition appears to get more difficult with age. I’m 78 and searching has , unfortunately, been my life with degrees post college! A waste, but hopefully can help others!

Natureopathes arounfpd here are about $350 a pop, with no insurance coverage. Can’t afford it any more, so do the best I can with my cardiologist, wits, and naet practioner(not covered with insurance, but big help!)

Lots of things in the "civilized" environment cause irreversible nerve damage and only the symptoms can be sometimes treated. Good to hear it works for you...

Some honest doctors pick up knowledge from experimenting, but I still cannot relate to those who would charge those who can't afford to pay for help.

As an aside, this is actually a very potent animal source of what is essentially DMT, a very powerful and relatively short-lived hallucinogen, and they dwell here in my desert home, though it is rare to see them.

Perhaps, like too many small creatures (of no known use, therefore of no Value), they are in the process of going extinct, like a certain pesky hominid that we all know of...
