Dear Mr. / Madam School Board Trustee

I write to you today in a sincere effort to help you accomplish your noble goals for seeking this office.

That is to help you facilitate the betterment of our schools for our children and young people.

To do this, I ask you to make the Board meeting agenda and the data points behind them available to me as well as all of the other taxpayers.

Upload the stack to a server where we can read, ratify and or annul the elements after log on.

In a perfect world each paragraph must have at least three possible answers: agree, disagree, no opinion at this time.

Direct democracy is a growing trend, and many companies offer these services:

hosting, voter receipts, and a running tally of totals for everyone to see.

In this way Madam Trustee you are assured that you will always have the strength of the community with you when making the decisions that really do effect the lives of our people.

Vty,

Helpful Taxpayer Citizen

What exactly does this have to do with the article?

The article is about addiction and mind control and the ease with which experienced operatives can swap out victims and perpetrators.

My comment is a template for a rational person to use to at least move in the direction of instauration vs comparing notes about how bad it is out there.

In other words:

The article serves as a rally point for intelligent people looking for solutions. The comment is a ready made solution.

Thank you for the explanation.

Regards any typology, modifying interactions will render these neat definitions rather opaque. As mental illness is the norm upon which science is based, typology itself is a set already askew and in service of two masters, narrative and myth.

Powerful material; elegant prose. Franz Boaz was the founder of modern anthropology. He said: "context always reigns supreme." And the essay proves that context is complex, and even thorny to define for participants. For starters, let's assume the reader is aware of several movers of setting and defining context: Tavistock Institue; Frankfurt School; Vatican (divining serpent) and how they collectively are responsible for the Schools of Higher Criticism; Liberation Theology and its Critical Theories. Definitions can be thorny yet for the sake of simplicity mankind instead of always embracing their betrayers are very sophisticated. They have not been fooled and there's no reason to believe they've been fooled. Moreover, they are part of the club, and their leaders "kare" deeply about them. I know I've stayed big picture in this comment and I don't want to lose too many beyond stating we all seek answers to identity (who am I ?) meaning (what is my purpose?) and belonging (with whom do I affiliate)? I "get" this is a comment section and my goal here is not to write an essay. Merely add other frame of references to consider. The material world is proving to be very cruel and almost every reader is not part of their club. What are we going to do with the time left, if we're even well enough, capable of vigorously pursuing living powerfully?

Thank you, Paul. Your response highlights and contributes to parts of the text, and also shows that thinking about the details is a constant endeavor.

Maybe, I should have published this in four parts:

1. addiction

2. game theory

3. personality typologies

4. the excitement of starting and controlling (!) a game.

I have been on both sides of that fence ego for sure!

I have not had a drink since 1989 married in 94, women I met at AA.

Not one of my best moves, but I wanted the picket fence scene!

My ex drink herself to death living me with my daughter!

In turn I have become a pretty big health nut to live long enough to see my daughter get on with her life! Enough to help her along!

I started drinking at 12! Environment plays a major part!

Deciding you want to live is the key!

Taking control of yourself! Changing your environment! I want to live.

My daughters 30 now and does not drink!

I Do not miss alcohol or the scene!

My ex drink vodka I did not smell it either but heard the empty bottles in the back ground! A lot.

That sound would drive me nuts!

An amazing compilation of discovery here for all to digest. In my quiet time this morning the self examination is drinking in many of these points you bring up Ray. I am savoring the whole of it and snacking on the parts. Very important piece you’ve put out here. I read last night and went out and sat in the grass at dusk for a good bit of time as the moon rose and sun set. The lighting bugs made a lovely show.

I will be re reading this with myself in the mirror.

Grateful for your insights 💕

At 67, a past drunk 30 some years ago I can say this: I can be just as stupid as my drunk past persona, I am responsible for the effort, but not the outcome and I leave the figurative door open to past room I will not go into! Imagine what is in the closet!(lol)

It works for me.

I will add this, there is always a Strong motivation needed for real change, real change like sobriety one day at a time.

And what might that be? Someone I dearly love, (and 2 beautiful children)saying I’m done with your bullshit and meaning it. She figured me out. She went to alanon and got the right information. She gave me a last chance. I made the only decision that made sense.

Since then, my life resumed as fate would determine.

I am alive healthily living striving to be as conscious as possible of life as we can perceive moment by moment.

Mainly avoiding the matrix thinking, by asking myself “ is this my organic thought “?

Happiness is achieved when distractions are set aside and the goal is achieved.

My take. Distractions are many and nevertheless always present. Hey, a distraction could bring more happiness, like walking down a trail with a destination but something says go this way instead…
