I learned to breathe Prana Yama, first, to 6 counts, heartbeats in each cycle that seemed impossible, now at 30-40 heartbeats, calmly meditating on simply Being, truly living in that moment with the foresight it takes to form the Heaven on Earth that comes with wisdom, action under control to be able to remain calm at last, freed from the desires, lusts, and reactions of youth. To finally reach our peak and mature at 66... to finally get to live with eyes and heart wide open, taking the love, the pain, the lessons Wii came into life planning to learn, forgetting upon the incarnation of our greatness as a member of the Light Brigade, though some may never know that they were sent by God who's Light is shed through our every move. You are truly Living before Dying, as you do by giving service for Enlightenment. This contagion will grow by the seeds you plant through Webbling & Wibblizing till the end of your turn as an Indigo Spirit landing early in the game to prepare for the Starseeds that are following and came to listen to what Wii say, the "I"s that see and share, that synthesize from chaos what is going on out there. I came across an excellent video, always 'my opinion', but others do concur, by
I think it's Dr. Lupzig? who gave the neuronal information on the difference between
'pleasure' and 'happiness'. A friend VEHEMENTLY denied that 'happiness' could EVER
be possible, thus missing the entire point of this video that it IS very possible, and
extremely useful.
It's very possible regardless of anything that's going on because it's based on brain
hormones(I think it's hormones), and is very healing to us giving us 'life before death'.
Definitely a good question, Ray. It's what's right now, isn't it?
My friend provided me a very long list (some of it known by me, not all), why happiness
must be impossible, and worse, WRONG.
Just like the song says 'money don't buy me love', and 'the best things in life are FREE',
happiness cannot be bought, and is FREE, and isn't hard to accomplish at all.
It definitely counteracts stress, or fear about really dangerous things that certainly
can and may happen.
But right now, they haven't happened yet.
Some things may possibly, likely WILL happen in my own life and there are things I need to do
to be in a better position than my current one. Just waiting to actually get energy after all that
I've been through in the last 5 or so YEARS, enough to fatigue me.
As you know, I follow the bible, and it's my 'guide'. It clearly says to me that things WILL
get worse, very bad as all the bad things coalesce, work together, and the beauty of
God twisted and denied. So many things can SEEM a certain way. Yet, are they?
This fine video explains how the brain can produce the 'happiness' response.
Happiness would be the first step in a hierarchy. It's temporary, but never turns on you,
and not too temporary.
Did you or anyone here ever do what I used to do growing up? I had a bike and would
ride to the lovely local church which was built right next to a ravine. Into this ravine
I went, hiding my bike and continuing on. Amazingly, there was the proverbial 'babbling brook',
lovely, gentle trees, and it was here that I allowed myself to be lifted 'out of this world'
for a couple of hours'. It definitely was 'a high', but no down aftermath, and I'd gently
come 'back to earth' as I got my bike and cycled home again. And home was cold
and hostile, so this was helpful. (people can't help how it is, though).
Was that happiness, or something more? I still remember so long after, and can
recreate all the feelings at will. We ALL can do this. And I think it's very healthy.
