My issue with Berne’s classic is it assumes the other is NOT a psychopath and therefore is capable of engaging in the game of Theory of Mind. There is no ‘I think that they think that I think’. It’s simply I want and demand that you do such and such. And I as they lack entirely any semblance of empathy aka humanity, emotional arguments will go nowhere.
Being fascinated by the psychology of psychopathy, I studied that area, but did not specialise on it. Thus I concluded that I would never win, never be able to treat, those on the psychopathy spectrum. Tbh I always referred them on to the psychiatrists at the first glimmer that I was dealing with such a client. After a few episodes of being thrown about a room, punched to the floor and/or cornered, I decided I wasn’t paid enough for the risk.
So how do you deal with an entire class of ruling people who are psychopaths (if you prefer you may call them sociopaths as they’re high function)?
I do not know. But suspect it’s by threatening them with losing the success of their end-point. Better yet, losing their heads which equates to their money.
Interesting, Gates has been taken to court by numerous governments, including The Philippines and State of India for crimes against humanity: death, disabilities and sterility through his vaccine trials. And yet, they made no dent on his finance. These judges did not demand 25% of his wealth or the sale of his properties so he’s carried on. I truly would not have believed this possible at 45, but I am wiser now, 23 years later. It is the elders that proved it to mii, those over 100 I see.
If you do not take care of the vessel you occupy to experience life, a lifetime can be miserable. Many do not understand that our job as a parent is to create remarkable children who can far surpass us in their potential to better the world and create security and happiness for themselves and those they love. The job is given up.
What are you starting with that you can build upon, even if broken to a large degree, wii can repair the body as well as the image of who we are: the “I” you see in the mirror, often different from the “I” others perceive to be you based on what they see or what you say… not who you really are.
What determines how you shape yourself is exercise and diet. For your body is a machine that converts food into human forms. None are exactly alike, nor do they respond to the environment the same, react to foods, climate, or other people in the same way. Therefore no one routine, diet, or activity can work for all people, especially as wii age, get damaged, or work with the challenges or limitations of our genetics and environments of stress that wear down our immune systems and allow us to get sick. The sickness that is ignored becomes chronic, particularly if it involves inflammation of organs and not grounded to relieve the body of the bad energy, the build-up of positive ions that trash the body, and the failure to ground, to draw in negative ions to neutralize the bad effects of stress and allow your inflammation and pain to go into the ground instead of burn inside of you.
