Watched a restaurant near me turn away customers for hours during lunch rush, because the power went down and their cash registers automatically lock. I always use cash there, and had just bought my lunch when it happened. Businesses that have no way around this are making themselves very vulnerable. I cannot imagine they do not realize this, but they do not seem worried about it as they have not changed this lockout feature.

Yes, that may certainly qualify as being The Least we can do!

I intend to obliterate the whole mess (within my personal realm, ) by withdrawing from the whole corrupt system to the best of my abilities, which will ultimately entail my complete Financial Poverty, I expect, in hopes of not only preserving my own soul's integrity, but with the idea that such will set a precedence for others to perhaps develop the will and the strength to pull the plug for theirselves, rather than to remain enslaved to the corrupted system, and being shuffled around to whatever feedlot they'd have you on, and having one's plug pulled by Some Other, with a less than pure motive or concern.

It is only a matter of time, it appears, before the ability to continue to "play" within this system will be equivalent to receiving the Mark of the Beast, surely it is clear, with The Writing already emblazoned upon The Wall.

Cash is King, right? WRONG.

This reminds me of the subtle and devious methods that our soul-challenged overlords use frequently, such as this example of processed white sugar.

White sugar is poison to our system in such form. The ptb know this, and have known for some time.

Once such knowledge comes out to the gen. pub., and desire for the profitable poison dries up, the ptb must revamp, and so devise a even worse product, even more deadly, and offer it up in place of the original, in this case, we will use saccharine.

So, rather than ditch the whole mess, the gullible people, in mass, follow the allotted path, and some will manage to be led to ingest the sweet & low, while others will stick with the original, no less poisonous, but familiar sugar, thinking of it, perhaps, as "the lesser evil".

Meanwhile, behind the curtain, tptb are still making out like bandits, now profiting from many angles, while still having achieved the subservience of The People...

Only a few will have the wherewithal, and then the strength and ability, to forego the sugar and the sweet & low for something entirely natural and wholesome in their stead.

Seek and Find such determination if you may, for I believe much of our True Value depends upon our lovingly exerted wills being directed towards Holy and Sacred pursuits, over those of the flesh, alone.

Blessings for one and all!

What to do with money if there's few people left? My only answer is learn off-grid survival.

If you don't think the population is crashing, here's a crash course:

The damned debit cards are so convenient, I've become an addict to their use but I will work harder

to use cash thanks to this post. Catherine A. Fitts has been recommending CASH FRIDAYS which I've tried to follow but I'll do my best to make every day a CASH FRIDAY. Did you know that when you use a Visa or MC debit card at the checkout and it asks you if you want extra cash? Yes its a convenience but for every dollar you extract on one of these cards, even extra cash, VISA & MASTERCARD get a piece of that, so I always say NO to extra cash. Pull cash from your account directly at your bank or credit union and use an ATM card not a Visa or MC debit card.....Anything with those logos affixed, means they get a percentage.

I use my change to teach my granddaughter to save. I pay an extra $3 a month to my checking account, unlimited checks, and a $10K death ins. policy in case of an accident, even my 5-year-old granddaughter is covered. For me, it's a good bargain.

I waited tables for $1.50 an hr, my tips are my business, not the IRS's. I TIP IN CASH TO THIS DAY.

WHY DO I PAY TAXES ON MY SOCIAL SECURITY TAX TWICE? THE PROMISED RAISE WON'T COVER FOOD INCREASE COSTS.

NEITHER IS TO BE TRUSTED. I WANT CASH, A CHECK. DO NOT USE A CC AT THE WINDOW TO ORDER FAST FOOD, USE CASH, IF YOU CAN'T SEE WHAT THE ORDER TAKER DOES, THEY COULD BE WRITING YOUR INFO DOWN. AFTER FTX YOU STILL WANT TO TRUST DIGITAL MONEY?

Good to see this topic again. Ray's idea is a good one, but I fear only while cash is still acceptable. Of course communities can make their own cash or barter groups, but the community needs to be large. Crypto can be taken away by the elites, farming requires lots of start up cost and/or labor. Depending on others for labor, esp, in these vaxed times seems risky.

I'm planning to take $ out of the bank to avoid a bail-in and/or loss of purchasing power and rent out condos to those in the system that can pay with goods and services they can order for me, not only rent fees. To get them to do this I probably have to give them a discount. Again, this depends on their ability to thrive and the economy. The climate maniacs are planning to suck more out of the system in carbon credits, things don't look great long-term, but not giving up.
