The UNDRIP treaty that has been signed on to , by almost every country and has written into it that water, and basically all resources are owned by the Indigenous peoples. We are seeing that treaty being deployed in British Columbia right now with the fed government and the province ceding the city of Richmond and several communities on Vancouver Island, back to the indigenous. Residents that are going to refinance their mortgages are now finding themselves in a predicament because they don’t hold title to the property any longer. The Fee Simple ownership law that has existed for decades has been suspended and replaced by UNDRIP regulation. The province knew this was coming into effect six years ago but did not tell residents until last fall, mere weeks before it was implemented, so there was no time to get lawyers involved to fight it. Also of concern with the UNDRIP is the clause that you soon will not be allowed to reside within 100 metres of a watershed, including lakes, rivers, creeks and aquifers. This one is exceptionally heinous as it could include ground water/aquifers which would mean wells too. People who bought their dream home on the lake will find themselves not only being pushed out but having to remove all buildings from the 100 metre zone… tearing down your dream home would be devastating, but that is part of the goal. Destroying people and their dreams. There are an abundance of rural homes, especially lakefront being listed for sale in Alberta presently. The UNDRIP hasn’t been tested here yet but it will, as it will likely everywhere. If they don’t burn you out first.. Ala, Maui, Jasper, Kelowna, Northern Ontario and Washington state presently. As well here in Canada (Arctic Mexico) they are starting to regulate who can use national and provincial parks, there is already a few that are open only to indigenous peoples. They are definitely going into end game mode.

Yup, just wrote the utility company, for the heck of it. They are supposed to be able to show my consumption by the day, and (allegedly) I can check it anytime. These "meters" can be programmed remotely, and they show whatever they are intended to show. Of course, they can triangulate us with Wi-Fi/5G signals to see if we are at home.
Just received the summary. During the four days my wife and I were away, there was no consumption, except the twice two gallons the water softener used every other day. Next, I'm going to see if I can trigger extra consumption by starting the water in the morning, and not using more water that day.
