My observations on Germany and the now guaranteed humanitarian disaster which will soon engulf them, leave me baffled. By using a clever marketing campaign, ie; impending climate disaster/ freedom for Ukraine (at any cost) they have convinced the entire population to willingly and enthusiastically throw themselves out of airplane at 40000 feet. They trusted their elected leaders and experts promises that there was nothing to be concerned about, as each citizen would be provided a parachute by magical means before hit the ground.
It is only now, as they reach terminal velocity and the ground is rapidly approaching that they realize their faith was misplaced.
Seriously, what industrial society has ever been powered by sunshine and wind?
