Alexander and Napoleon who are very similar characters even down to their portrayal in art (and you can add Hannibal here) are also somewhat unbelievable characters.

At the very least most of what we know about both is fiction.

Add Julius Ceasar. According to Suetonius, he was "all wives' husband and all husbands' wife."

:)

He was amazing, too!

And nobody dares to say a word about the German, who was probably one of the greatest orators in history. Now, why is that?

I can't comment on his (assume you mean Hitler) orator credits as I've never really watched a lot of the old reels of him speaking but I was struck by the similarity of style when I once watched (on old film) David Ben Gurion speak back in about 1948 to a crowd in Israel.

It doesn't matter what you and I think. :) It worked!

Not sure about Ben Gurion, but as the fake "pope" usually says, "Who am I to judge?" :D

Good riddance, though. Would you care to find out more about the analogy, possibly together?

Also, I'm not sure if you have received the message, but I am collecting honest and good sources WITHOUT any visible links to this end. You are definitely one of them, so pretty please, place links to your articles into my comment sections, whenever applicable. I usually do the same.

Might as well; let's proceed! :)

A good majority of All of Humanity's Problems comes from the wanting of something (outside of the requirements for life) for nothing, as in "wouldn't it be nice if dear uncle John died and left us his billions?"... That's why so many still believe in the voting process, and why so many are compliant with the deadly shenanigans circa 2020 onward, and why the world is in such a muddy mess, as regards man's proclivities.

I once met this smallish group of people that joined weekly to chant a series of words that would, it was solemnly touted, bring these people all of the earthly prosperity that they could imagine, just for the chanting of these harmless, unknown words to this unnameable, unseen entity, over and over.

Sound familiar?

They were a disappointing group of people, and proved it by the way that they treated such an unworthy as myself, when I was not willing to risk my honor for this gift of life I have received, in such a way as is equivalent to idol worship, or so I see it, though I was not condemning any of them for their poor choice of "laboring for their desires".

A life lived simply, from a position of will to honor life, rather than a will to dominate and dictate, create and destroy; to amass a glut of hoarded wealth that wastes away, such as the moths & rust corrupt, and to build up a list of psycho-spiritual aberrations a mile long, unto decrepitude of this experience-- life, leading to the plight that many see unfolding about theirselves...

The aboriginals of many continents -- those wasteful sorts that believed life was a shared experience, and not a giant, deadly shopping spree (for how can one put a "price" upon a life of any sort?), were living in a mostly proper and balanced, simple fashion, in comparison with all of man's so-called progress in the techno-industrial modernity that most will settle for, nowadays, if not gluttonously demand, it should be noted by most, if not all, of the remainder of what is to represent humanity on Earth a.d...

These dumb, lazy, heathen "savages", that in most cases had created absolutely zero waste in the form of what we so off-handedly refer to as trash and rubbish (the unusable "stuff" that is a by-product of our collectively accepted mass psychosis and derangement), had almost none of the mental derangements found in modern man's paradigm of life as it is currently held, and if one were to look closely at what our Glory, Gold, and God-seeking brethren murdered and betrayed (across the globe), one might see a way out of such madness and insanity; but the way is narrow, and fairly rigidly straight, and perhaps is just not meant for the majority of these modern, wasteful, murderers going around pretending to be alive, when in fact they are already dead in their souls, or so it could appear, and, so, appeals to me in order to voice such lamentations...

The truth is the Truth, regardless of whether or not it has the respect and honor of the ones that are blind to the existence of such, and what does any of this matter in the span of the mystical creation? Oh, to patiently find out!!!

Cheers, Ray! Keep up the GOOD WORK!

Those people you refer to who believe in the power of chanting a particular mantra over and over, were they perchance the Soka Gakkai - newish form of buddhism originally out of Japan? If so, I believe their mantra is "Nam-myoho-renge-kyo". I came across a group of them in London in the eighties and their aspirations appeared to definitely be worldly as opposed to spiritual, since they believed optimal chanting would bring a better job, house, etc.

I did not intend to out them by name, but yes, it was the same group.

I have an aversion to those words to this day.

And in my experience, you are coming through as a well-meaning, honest, and intelligent person... Sorry, please, advise... :(

I am afraid that I cannot advise you on these subjects, Ray, for I am not the one being addressed, ahoy! 🗝️

Apologies, I didn't mean to interrupt, but why are you paying Malone a penny? He has all the money in the world and he has never been proven to say anything that was true, apart from stuff that were too little, too late:

By all means, Ray-- it's your show, and you are right to run it the way that you choose.

I am now curious, myself, as to why folks would give the shyster any time, let alone more money.

Maybe ol' Malone's chanting their money right out of their pockets... (I'm sorry, that was a poor attempt at humor that I do not have!)

I completely agree. Voting is useless. It is giving your power away.

Ray, you remember Ross on election night, dancing, smiling, clearly he was the happiest man on planet earth?

I still think Trump would have been smarter to have followed his "lead."

Expand full comment

Nay, I wasn't following him closely, only out of curiosity, but still tend to remember that my understanding was that he thought money could buy him independence. His idea of using gasoline tax only was not so bad in retrospect. I also remember he was scared sh*tless and ran away without a trace...

So, please, explain. What do you mean by "Trump could have been smarter?"

Expand full comment

He could have gotten paid off by both sides and skipped the misery completely!

Ross's idea of a 25 cent gas tax for what was it, 2 years to pay off the debt was great. Instead we got Slick Willie, 18 cents, HRC, & JEB (not), forever!

Unless it was a theater to begin with, which is the most likely explanation in spite of what I wrote in the article, intimidation is a lot more effective than paying a billionaire off. :)
