"Auto-immunity" as a disease is a creation of "modern" medicine. Our bodies do not attack themselves no matter what the doctor tells you. These conditions are a result of "trapped inflammation" and that is what causes the degradation of the bones and tissues. Our body uses inflammation to heal us -- I have a fractured toe at this writing. My foot around that toe is inflamed. It is healing. When root cause of the symptoms is not resolved or dissolved then all one can do is apply all the measures you listed in your article. I added bee sting therapy to the list. This concept does not apply to injuries or poisoning, by the way. If you drink arsenic, you are likely to die. There is much more to this topic but I will leave that for further discussion.

Who would have ever thought changing one's diet to combat most illnesses would or could be so effective? Revolutionary! lol

Recently partook of a Russian tradition. Something like 10 minutes in a Banya (sauna) with salt and water being thrown over the hot coals and then submersion in a minus 4 C degree pool (25ºF) for probably no more than 20 seconds or so. Didn't kill me. No harm done.

Good stuff Ray. Another avenue for you to explore is accumulation of AGEs, especially glucosepane. When we figure out how to break its covalent cross-links, the healing arts will take a giant leap forward.

You can investigate bee sting therapy for RA. Find an apitherapist in your area and try it.

What do you know about it? I am nearly completely uninformed.

Met a woman (40 yrs old) in Oaxaca, Mx, who told me she had resolved/dissolved ALL her many allergies using bee sting therapy. That was in 2018. Dr Tom Cowan mentioned that he used bee sting therapy when he was in private practice (retired now). I recommended it to a Brazilian woman who has suffered with rheumatoid arthritis for 22 years and wanted to get off the horrid drug, prednisolone, she's been taking for several years. Turned out there were several apitherapists nearby (she and her son live outside Sao Paulo) . . . basically the apitherapist ices the spot to be treated -- in her case -- her hands and then puts the bee on her knuckle joint and lets it sting. There is something in the bee venom that immediately starts to take down the pain. What that is, I don't think anyone knows for sure. I live in Mexico and discovered recently that there are apitherapists all over this country and they tend to know about each other. I know they must be in the States as well.

Will the bee venom completely resolve the underlying issue? I don't know. Root cause of all conditions begins on the emotional level and is transduced to the physical.

Brandon Bozarth, for one, uses an inquiry method combined with German New Medicine principles to find the biological conflict shock that caused the physical symptoms which are called "diseases" . . . You can find info on him on his website. brandonbozarth.com

Using bee sting therapy though is not toxic to the body and it is a small amount of venom and definitely more appealing than being put on a lifetime of destructive corticosteroid and "immune" suppressant drugs . . . in Brazil a session costs $18 and generally the person gets weekly treatments . . .

I hope this bit of info helps, Ray.

"Crypto" means "hidden".

"Cryo" means "icy cold".

Golden paste (turmeric, coconut oil, and black pepper) is quite helpful. The turmeric in the grocery store is thought to be substandard, the coconut oil should be raw, cold pressed, and the pepper should be freshly ground. BTW, it’s my understanding that katy perry now owns bragg’s...

Expand full comment

Looks like a good concoction. Turmeric and pepper enhance each other's anti-inflammatory impact, and coconut oil keeps them fresh for a while. For turmeric (even for cooking), I've found that only freshly-ground works. It paints everything yellow. :)

Right, Braggs is different now.

1/2 cup ground turmeric (know the source)

1 cup water (reverse osmosis)

Bring to a boil then simmer for 10 minutes uncovered (stirring to avoid burning)

Remove from heat and allow to cool for 7 minutes

Add 1/3 cup coconut oil (know the source)

Add 3 tsp freshly ground black pepper (know the source)

Combine completely

Divide into half. Refrigerate one half and freeze the other

Each dose (I take 1 tsp 3x daily) is good for 6 hours

Refrigerated half will last up to two weeks.

I have a $6000.00 ultrasound bone fracture machine that hubs' benefits covered 100% for a metatarsal fracture. I used it faithfully every day and my fracture healed so well I don't even have pain when it's damp or cold. I have osteo arthritis in my spine, worst in my neck. Do you think I could use the machine for that? It's just collecting dust for the last three years. I think I will investigate. Thanks for a great article. If it's no good for what I am looking at, anyone wants to buy it it's half price!

It doesn't sound logical to use it for osteoporosis.

Why don't you list it on eBay?

I tried. They removed it immediately because they said it was a prescription item.

This looks promising.

And then I get a stack about the dangers of ultrasound 🤕

Expand full comment

Sorry to disappoint you, but I have seen too many miracle meds and treatments that worked fast, only to turn out to be worse than nothing later... I am convinced that ultrasound treatment must accurately target the substance to break it up, which might not be easy. Frequencies also inevitably vary, and I'm having doubts that anyone knows them exactly, but it's possible with the proper diagnostic equipment and a functional working hypothesis. Also, frequent or lasting exposure is likely to cause some harm, too.

I agree. I'm kinda scared of it now but it's been 3 yrs with no I'll effects on my foot. Touch wood.

I also don't think I want it at the top of my spine near my brain 😲

be wary of a one-size-fits-all approach, meaning: what might work for someone might not work for someone else.

OTOH: healing from antibiotics (pneumonia, 2 yrs ago) got me into looking at an anti-inflammatory diet/life-style, which for me has been very valuable. twice daily a turmeric+black pepper+fresh ginger drink (with a drop of acacia honey) has done wonders: strongly recommended.

no problem. but: after experimenting I opted to use both turmeric and black pepper in powder form, from a herbal shop that sells unlabeled Indian spices. so: put the kettle on > put several thin slices of fresh ginger in a large glass/mug > put 1/2 tea spoon turmeric + 1/4 tea spoon black pepper with the ginger > pour the boiling water onto it > stir & let sit for 15 minutes or so > put some fresh acacia honey & stir > ready to drink.

in short, I use half as much pepper as turmeric. real acacia honey's fairly expensive, but my (ancient) book of herbs describes its powerful healing properties, so I'm OK with that.

this drink (which I take 2 or 3x daily) has helped getting my gut sorted out and seems to support other dietary choices as well that I feel much more comfortable with. hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
