How Far Can Opposition Be Organized? That's Not the Point
It's the unorganized part that matters
So, what’s the point?
A demonstration can be more than what it seems
James Roguski came up with the following news today about a demonstration in Budapest1 tomorrow:
The report made me think about public initiatives a bit further than before. First, however, let me ruminate over the event itself.
The event is obviously for Hungarians and the speakers will talk to the audience in Hungarian. While the program is posted in the article in German, James included the link to Hungarian:
https://orvosokatisztanlatasert.hu/who-elleni-tuntetes-2023-11-05-kossuth-ter-felhivas/
Notably, the German version is “for peace and freedom,” but the Hungarian poster is “only” for freedom. There is not a single word about the contents of the speeches in either of the two languages; only the speakers are introduced, mostly by their professions. That might retain some space for the speakers to express their ideas, and it also places the emphasis on people getting together.
The next poster is in Hungarian, saying “Stop the worldwide program,” already addresses the significance of resisting the UN and the WHO. This opposition is about a lot more than peace or freedom, because it also addresses “vaccines,” national independence, and public health. The links at the end of the announcement, posted by James, are in English and give you a good idea of the objectives.
The organizers (Szkita egyesulet) seem to be receiving the silent treatment by the Hungarian media. After all, negative publicity is also good publicity. The movement (szkitaegyesulet.hu) seems to combine a nonexistent tradition (that of the “Holy Crown”) and an adventurous Hungarian genealogy with the most accurate picture of the plandemic and the latest developments, which suggests that it is controlled opposition, because the first two elements divide people and decrease the number of its followers. Ingeniously, the organization, when it’s not ignored, is ridiculed by the Hungarian official media. Nobody wants to be laughed at or belong to a weird minority. Still, I am interested in the actual number of attendees tomorrow.
What does it mean to resist?
I have already exhausted the list of what does necessarily work:
This time, I would carry my thinking a bit further.
Any public event or concerted action can accomplish more than nothing as networking opportunities and opportunities to confirm the participants that they are not alone, despite those days, when they were the only people in the supermarket who didn’t wear a muzzle.
What else can people with no power do? In my understanding, they can ignore official news souces, read the available “alt” sources with prudence and caution2, prepare for the near future3, take care of the present, and wait until the madness ends4.

I'm one of your free subscribers, I still read, as Knowledge is Power. It's understandable you write with a passion but need to be paid too, especially in the Biden Depression. As a Senior, there are few luxuries I can afford.
I Like reading informative articles. Most people only read the main news from their sources. I read side articles of interest. Or get them in my headline catcher. I try to fit them into what you are writing about.
This one was first. We know all but Marines are short of recruitment goals.
Soldiers Unpaid: National Guard Hasn't Paid Out Thousands of Enlistment Bonuses
The National Guard is behind paying at least 9,000 soldiers the bonuses they were promised for signing up, according to a service component source with direct knowledge of the situation.
The Army National Guard Incentive Management System, or GIMS, was first rolled out in 2012, allowing states to manage and monitor incentives. It was designed to streamline the process and mitigate fraud and abuse.
But the system crashed in late 2018 and was inoperable for about 10 months; another 10-month outage occurred in 2021. While the system was down, bonuses had to be filed through a complicated manual process, creating a backlog that states are still trying to fix.

This just showed up.
The Army Suddenly, and Chaotically, Told Hundreds of Soldiers They Have to Be Recruiters Immediately
The orders came after a breakdown in how the Army tracks how many recruiters it has coming through the pipeline along with retention of existing ones, according to Lt. Gen. Douglas Stitt, the Army's top personnel officer. The sudden depletion of recruiters caught Army planners flat-footed, with officials unable to provide a clear explanation as to what went wrong. Now, NCOs will likely have to move during the holiday season and in the middle of the school year, sowing chaos for families.
"Given the six-day heads up, we have zero time to plan child care," one noncommissioned officer told Military.com on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media. "We can barely find and afford child care during the week as it is, so now my wife may end up having to quit her job entirely because it is impossible to find on the weekend."
