In case you missed it, Britain, Australia, Canada and, for that matter, the USA, are limiting access to information by manipulating search engines, taking away medical doctors’ licenses, squelching resistance¹, attacking dissenters² with the full force of the pseudo-science of Psychiatry in Canada (in the latest US version of “psychiatric disorders,” while none of them can be verified objectively, DSM-5 determines that resisting authority is also a “disorder,” and you can guess that psychiatrists also consider themselves “authority”):

Here is the latest from Canada. Apparently, Bill C-18 fines internet platforms for publishing anything that diverges from the official line, but antisocial media is affected the most. All of a sudden, even Fakebook becomes a hero, because it resigns from Canada³. By disallowing alternative opinions, it is supposed to remove the threat of being fined, although I’m not sure how such a court verdict could be enforced. Ultimately, by leaving Canadian politics out of the mix, it becomes a cooperating participant in the game against people who would like to exercise their right to speak freely.

No, using a VPN doesn’t make you anonymous; your ISP (Internet Service Provider) can always identify your true IP address, computer cameras can record you without your knowledge (cell phones do the same) and even the speaker in your computer can function as a recording device. A VPN, however, as long as the its IP is not blocked by your ISP, might allow you to post contents from “abroad,” but you are taking chances, because you can be almost certainly identified even on computers with multiple users and no microphone, camera, or speaker (e.g. everybody’s keystrokes are uniquely patterned).
