The "Midwestern Doctor" Is Now behind a Paywall. What Might That Mean?
I can still comment here, and I do
*Please, notice that after this post, (s)he and I had a long conversation in the comment section, which took up half of my Sunday. It seems that we have arrived at an agreement, although we are unlikely to agree on a lot of details.
The “doctor” has “thousands of paid subscribers,” which is fine with me, but he just started taking comments only from “paid subscribers,” which makes me feel like a muzzled dog, who can barely bark, and only here. Muzzling readers doesn’t project anything good for him in the end or, possibly, a lot sooner, because he might just create the wrong impression of himself. He might just be tired of stupid comments (I certainly am), but he might want to give me the courtesy to allow me to comment, because I am a fellow author, working in the same direction, and I’ve always been respectful to him and never commented out of line. Anyway, this is not a race between two prophets. I’ll let you decide if his new paywall is fair or not. In fact, this is not about him or me; it’s about what YOU think.
If it enables you to understand the situation better, he doesn’t even allow me to READ the comments after his recent article, unless I pay. Well, he is saying it’s Substack, because when even one percent of a post is behind a paywall, even reading comment is not accessible for those who don’t pay; that is absolutely true.
He published the following (if you like my following article and you have access to his comments, you might want to challenge him by placing a link there to this piece; this happened and he is still not allowing me to challenge him on his own turf, only on mine. I have accepted the challenge and will post about the outcome. Maybe, I should also allow him to comment only if he pays :) ):
The greatest threat now is FedNow1, so an article about how not to get fat or lose weight seems to be a direct attempt at diverting people’s attention (unless the author himself had no idea he was doing that, which I doubt) from the last nail in the coffin of “liberty.” The answer is still resounding a no-brainer: additives, preservatives, eating habits and food poisoned with graphene or what ever else2, but EMF and mitochondrial dysfunctions are obviously candidates. Sadly, he has “solicited the idea” of a physician, which makes me curious if he is still using the devastating Germ Theory (well, he is, but with some limitations on “vaccines”) that enabled the whole convid theater and turned most people into morons or compliant puppets… Using the same terminology as the puppet masters, in my book, turns the person into an accomplice of the mass murderers who are running the show based on the same principle3. Too bad, the “doctor’s” article on the first “vaccinations” is still one of my favorites:
He talks about “hormonal imbalance,” which eerily reminds me of “imbalance in the brain,” the last and totally refuted paradigm for mental illnesses, while he readily acknowledged that he had never read my flagship article on what makes people sick4:
As opposed to his so lavishly using the potentially manipulative “we,” today, I published the following, demonstrating that there is no “we,” although that was not my first on the subject:
Of course, I have published a lot more about food, first last September,
And there is more:
https://rayhorvaththesource.substack.com/archive?sort=search&search=food
Or, do you eat pet food?
Or, do you want to save the animals?
And, of course, you can read my experience with “madication” (sic!):
And on the compartmentalization in western “Madicine” (sic!)that turns even the most well-meaning “doctor” into a cog into a killing machine:
Of course, I’m only having fun here, muzzled as I am by the “Midwestern Doctor.” He has full access to my pages as everyone else, and he is most welcome to comment here, but he is muzzling me. That reminds me of a few others like KK:
or a few more beforehand:
And countless other articles and comments…
Anyway, if the good “doctor” has given you good advice, at least you are not going to die fat!
As usual, on my page you must arrive at your own conclusions.
In the food, that is, which is the latest:
It would have been sooo easy to circumvent the trap, but nobody seemed to pay attention:
1) Write a new article.
2) Put a paywall in at the very bottom after the last ten words.
3) Use a new browser window you are not logged in with to see if you can view the comments.
4) See if you can find any way to make it possible to view the comments while keeping that paywall in.
There is no way to do it. So very simply. Your accusation is:
I am now blocking all comments on my articles because I want to censor people and do not want people who disagree with me to reply.
The correct accusation is:
Substack does not allow articles with paywalls to have their comments be seen by people who are not paid subscribers, even if the paywall only hides 1% of the article and the other 99% is publicly avaialble. AMD is putting 5% of their content behind a paywall, so some of the articles don't allow comments and Ray Horvath does not like the solution AMD did to this problem (trying to split those articles into two pieces and not having too many paywalls).
Also, you can't use the argument of "I am not accusing you of anything, I just raised some things for people to consider" because you were for all practical purposes making an accusation here and many of the people interpreted it in that manner.
". . . turns even the most well-meaning “doctor” into a clog into a killing machine:"
Clogs are SHOES. "Cogs" are teeth on gears that transmit the torque in machines.
